IMPORTANT : Prune apples and pears (pips) after leaf fall and before bud burst (Nov-Mar). Remove new water-shoots in Summer. Prune plums, cherries etc. (stones) after bud burst and before damp Autumn conditions arise (May-August).  Maintenance.
